Terms of Use

Last updated 25 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Vlogsy, the iPhone app, and the service behind its shared spaces. Using the app means agreeing to them.

Your account

You need an account only to share a space; the rest of the app works without one. You sign in with Apple, you must be at least 13 years old, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from inside the app — Profile → Delete account — and doing so ends these terms for you.

Your content is yours

You keep every right you have in what you film. You grant us only the narrow licence we need to run the service: to store your clips, to deliver them back to you on your own devices, and to deliver them to the people who are members of the spaces you shared them into. We do not use your footage for anything else — not to advertise, not to train anything, not to show to anyone you did not share it with.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive behaviour towards other users. Content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that depicts or exploits minors, and any behaviour that harasses, bullies, impersonates, or endangers another person, is forbidden outright. There is no warning tier and no strike count for it.

Every report is reviewed, and content or accounts found in breach are removed within 24 hours of the report being made. Removal means the clip is deleted for everyone in the space, and an account responsible for it is terminated — permanently, and without a refund of anything.

Also forbidden: uploading someone else's work you have no right to, filming a person who has not agreed to be filmed where they are entitled to expect privacy, using the service to distribute malware or spam, and trying to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

Reporting content, and blocking people

Both are inside the app, on every clip somebody else filmed. Open the day, press and hold the clip in the list, and choose:

You can also report or ask about something by writing to bastien.youssfi@gmail.com. If you believe someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Spaces and invites

A space is invite-only. Its owner mints links, each valid for seven days and revocable at any time; anyone with a live link can join, so treat one like a key. Everyone in a space can see and delete the days in it. You are responsible for who you invite.

Storage

How much you may store depends on your plan. A free account may store up to 5 GB and may store only media shared into a space — days kept as Only me stay on the phone. Vlogsy Pro raises the limit to 100 GB and backs up your own days too, so replacing or losing a phone does not lose them. Uploads are refused past your limit until you delete something.

Recording is free on either plan and always will be. Filming, the nightly film, and saving a finished day to your photo library never require a subscription.

That figure is a published limit rather than a permanent entitlement: we may change it, and we may introduce paid plans carrying different limits. Whatever is shown here and on the storage row in the app is the figure that applies to you. If a change would reduce what your account already holds, we will tell you before it takes effect and leave you time to export or delete.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — the app saves a finished day to your photo library for exactly that reason.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms — immediately, in the case of the zero-tolerance section above.

Changes

If these terms change materially the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the app after that means accepting the new version.
